Scholarships

Financial assistance is sometimes available through various scholarships or grant schemes. Candidates must however contact, research and apply directly to the Scholarship authorities.

The University of London is not able to influence any of the scholarship awarding authorities and is not responsible for processing or forwarding applications to them for funding.

As there are usually only a small number of scholarships available, competition is generally very high. You are therefore encouraged to investigate funding possibilities as early as possible. It is recommended that you submit your application to join the course as early as possible as in some instances a firm offer of a place from the University can be advantageous when asking an organisation for assistance with funding.

Information on scholarships can be found on each of the following links. (Each link will open a new window.)

British Council

If you are outside the United Kingdom and there is a British Council office near to you, it might also be worthwhile checking if they know of any local funding or sponsorships which are available.

This page will be updated from time to time with any additional information about scholarships and other funding that may become known.
