Exemptions (decision letter)

If you have indicated on your application form that you wish to apply for exemption/s the University will write to let you know one of the following four possible outcomes:

  • that the level content and standard of your previous qualification has enabled you to be granted automatic exemption from certain specified papers
  • that the University need further documentary evidence before a decision or automatic exemption can be made
  • that you may be considered for non-automatic exemptions, in which case, an exemption request form, fee slip and covering letter would be included for you to complete and return to the University with the appropriate fee
  • that your request for exemption has been unsuccessful. This will usually be because you do not satisfy the exemption criteria.
