Postgraduate

Livestock Health and Production (MSC, Postgraduate Diploma and Postgraduate Certificate)

Who is it for?

This course will be of interest to veterinarians and other scientists working in the field of livestock health and production, who wish to continue their professional and academic development and offer an enhanced service to their clients. This course has a world-wide relevance and offers options that are suitable for people of diverse professional backgrounds.

Some professionals may not wish to register for the MSc degree or Postgraduate Diploma but just take one or two courses, for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), in which case they may apply to register as Affiliated students of the Royal Veterinary College.

The award of the MSc or Postgraduate Diploma to a veterinarian does not confer the right to practise in the UK. Each country has its own regulations regarding the registration of, and CPD for, veterinarians and you are strongly recommended to check on the requirements of the professional body in the country in which you wish to practise before committing yourself to the programme. Completion of this programme does not provide a student with the knowledge to practise as a fully-qualified veterinarian.
