Fees

Fees are subject to annual review. When you register you can either pay the total amount upfront or pay as you go (a one-off registration fee plus a fee for each module).

Note: the University reserves the right to amend previously announced fees, if necessary.

All fees must be paid in pounds sterling, which may be paid either by a credit card recognised by Mastercard International or by the Visa group OR by banker's draft, cheque or UK postal order, made payable to 'The University of London' and crossed 'a/c payee'.

Other costs
Besides the fees payable to the University, you should also budget for the fee levied by your local examination centre to cover their costs (if you do not sit your exams in London).

Fees for Full time / Part time students at Royal Holloway

For UK and EU students:	£6,368
For  Overseas students:	£13,120

Please Note that:

• The College reserves the right to change, during the academic session.
• Part-time fees for all courses which have a part-time option are charged at 50% of the standard yearly full-time rate for that programme.
• Students not resident in the UK or the EU are not normally permitted to register part-time. There are discounts for early payment of fees.
• Special arrangements can be made for payment by instalment.
• After the completion of three years full-time research, a reduced 'continuation' fee of £350 (2006/7) is available for one year if the thesis is considered to be at the 'writing up' stage of completion.
