Individual courses for professional or personal interest and development.

The University recognises that many professionals need to update their knowledge by focusing on particular subjects and as a result, course modules are available on a stand-alone basis for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development.

Additionally, if you do not know whether you have the time and commitment to study the entire MSc programme, or you are interested only in specific subjects, you may choose to register for any of the compulsory core modules, up to a maximum of three.

In order to maintain standards, the entrance requirements for acceptance to study individual courses is similar to that required for studying the full degree.

On successful completion and assessment for each individual course, you will receive a University of London certificate. If you meet all the necessary entrance requirements, you may later apply to transfer to the MSc programme and gain credits for courses you have already passed.

The fee for individual courses is currently £1450 per course. Fees are payable in UK Pounds Sterling and are subject to annual review.

To apply for individual courses you may use the same application form as for the full degree. The same application deadline of 31st May for the full MSc programme also applies for individual courses.
