MSc and Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health

Structure and Syllabus

The MSc structure is shown below. The Postgraduate Diploma consists of the four compulsory core modules plus two additional core modules.

There are four streams to the MSc. To gain an MSc with the named stream mentioned you must take the relevant compulsory modules. The named streams are:

  • E&H: Environment & Health

  • HP: Health Promotion

  • HSM: Health Services Management

  • Gen: You can choose not to specialise and take the General stream

Please use the grid below to help you decide what choice is right for you. Modules marked C are compulsory for that stream; modules marked R are recommended for that stream; where no compulsory or recommended mark is made, module choice is optional.
